Don't know but what about Roderic O'Connor, Memphis Tennessee, Viscount Nelson, Jan Vermeer........any news on these horses? Have they been sold or still under the care of O'Brien. Seems likely that he'll get rid of a few more after Quest For Peace.

So far there is no indication he is better than a Group 3 winner.

Except that he's just beaten a Gr1 winner though.

They have enough staying sons of gallileo on their stallion roster I'd guess.

They have to cull some and by the law of averages they won't always get it right.

The biggest surprise to me was Eagle Mountain as that one had finished 2nd in the Derby and ahead of their other 6 runners in the race that year and was then sold and won some big races and over a million pounds in prize money after. Archipenko was another decent one they sold too.

bought by australian interests, who bought bauer a few years back. apparently harder the surfaces the better, suited to australian racing, young and will be educated to be a fine tough stayer, melbourne cup next year you would think his aim.

Didn't Robert Sangster once say something along the lines of, if you never sell any good ones, you'll never sell anything?

I take ima-mazed66's point about Arctic Cosmos but he has been off for a year after winning the St Leger, so whether we can take this at face value remains to be seen. Luca Cumani was talking about the St Simon Stakes (another Group 3) next but of course, this may change after reflection.
