exactly ilwab, just ignore the bore Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzippie,i have him blocked as all he does is get very angry and writes an essay for every response, its quite sad really,oh and he pretends to get inside info from the meehan yard, also told us Shumoos would win next years Guineas LaughLaughLaughLaugh
anyway back on topic,SNA represents excellent value wether he wins or not,he's no 33/1 shot, but no point trying to explain that to a thicko like Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzippie
Report flushgordon1 • October 1, 2011 7:50 PM BST
lay so you stink till yer wifes tits fall off,has not got a feckin chance.
Report Chrisday3000 • October 1, 2011 8:03 PM BST
Such a massive price, Can't see why snow fairy is virtually half the odds of SNA.
Report Zippie..the..hippie • October 1, 2011 8:29 PM BST
He will need to be Dancing Brave to win from that draw or do you just ignore that.

NO CHANCE

Sarafina bad draw
So you think too slow and bad draw
Galikova very smart , would be my bet if it was softer
Workforce, training perfomance of the century to get this one to win back to back
Masked Marvel, nice horse with a frame squeek but not quick enough
Sno Fairy bad draw

It leaves the **** oss for me who have very good form on fast ground and great draw
Gr1 winner over 2 miles but loads of speed as shown when 2nd to the fav btn a neck in a slow run race

Fav is 4/1 in bad draw this one is 14/1 from a perfect draw and will get a better pace here, if this one gets to the front any time it's over  HIRANO DAMOUR WINS THE ARC
Report mythical prince • October 1, 2011 8:49 PM BST
you can lay this beast for your entire bank.

just absolutely no hope that he wins. just not good enough
to win an arc and would need a foinavon type incident to collect.

just back danedream and treasure beach
sit back crack open a tinnie and enjoy.
Report tobermory • October 1, 2011 9:07 PM BST
I have backed SNA, having rubbished him for 2 years.

Has always been overated so suprised to find he is now underated.

Was worst value bet of the season at 9/4 or so for the KG but nearly 40 here is way over the top .
Report tobermory • October 1, 2011 9:09 PM BST
Also Treasure Beach is better value 33/1, Pour Moi/Nathaniel would have been vying for favouritism and he ran them both to photos.

Odd that people think his Grand Prix De Paris form is his true running when it seems obviously to be the exception to me.
Report zilzal1 • October 1, 2011 9:12 PM BST
Would have liked him but for the draw Tobes, lot of petrol going to be used early
Report SoYouThink • October 1, 2011 9:26 PM BST
Think all three of O'Briens represent value.

St. Nick and T...Beach would be my 4th or 5th choices to win the race but even so still too big and worth taking a chance on at around 40/1.

So You Think excellent value at 5/1 though. Nothing as solid as him and there can't be any excuses this time. Ground, distance, field size all to suit and hopefully there'll be a decent pace which means he'll settle. Drawn wide but he hits the traps like a greyhound at Shelbourne Cup and should be able to get across somewhere between 7th-10th. Only real disadvantage is that he'll probably race without cover.

1st - So You Think
2nd - Meandre
3rd - Reliable Man

yeah, never seen anything like it before! I'll back all of them

Maybe people who have tired of the hype have gone the other way and thinking they are no good Mischief

short????? 35/1 prat!!!!
Report Stan2 • October 2, 2011 10:35 AM BST
For those who still want to beleive in this horse  , his star juvenile rating was based on a beating of Elusive Pimpernel . That form looks really good now , doesn't it ? A very confident place lay.
Report Zippie..the..hippie • October 2, 2011 10:41 AM BST
But he did beat that super horse "HARRIS TWEED" Laugh

This horse was a hype monster as a 3yo and has done NOTHING since to suggest he could get in the first 8 in an ARC.

It is an utter leap of faith and has absolutely NO CHANCE on any of his form EVER EVER EVER

That is a fact
Report RMB © • October 2, 2011 10:43 AM BST
Midday has the beating of Snow Fairy over 12f, SNA had the beating of Midday over 12f (Coronoation and Yorkshire Oaks). Snow Fairy is 14s. SNA is 40s. On that form line the price looks big for SNA.

short????? 35/1 prat!!!!

Would be 100/1 if trained by any other trainer. NO CHANCE "PRAT"
Report Zippie..the..hippie • October 2, 2011 10:46 AM BST
Trying to cross reference "EPSOM" form in a badly run small field to Longchamps is a "reach" at best imo.

Price is skinny on what he has done, the one thing you do have going for you is the Carpet Bomber of a trainer often wins with his wrags as he throws so many darts

He is Group 1 Dandy Nichols Laugh
Report RMB © • October 2, 2011 10:53 AM BST
Just trying to put everything out there, though I agree the comparisons are relatively weak it's a fair reason to double check the very large price discrepancy. My plan was to have a large bet on Hiruno D'Amour, but the price has gone. Probably have a tickle on Masked Marvel and Treasure Beach.
Report Zippie..the..hippie • October 2, 2011 10:56 AM BST
RMB

I totally agree with your 2 value bets.

I have bet HD at 18/1 and love Galikova but am sure the ground is no good

If people argued TB was the value rather than SNA I could not dissagree and if there is a strong pace MM looks a lovely horse to me

GL

A combo with those 4 will be my play also

2 years ago SNA was the best horse obrien had ever had. He was a monsterous 2yo then had no 3yo season. This year we have seen 1 flash of brilliance when he destroyed Harris tweed in what I remember to be an awesome display of stamina and acceleration. He has not repeated that performance since, but still has not been disgraced. Its worth bearing in mind that this has been his target all season.

I am not convinced that the riding arrangements are detrimental to his chance as the young obrien is an exceptional horseman and will no doubt have ridden the horse many times at home. I also consider the draw to be a benefit rather than a hinderance today. Ridden from 2nd or 3rd in a fast run race I can see him powering up the straight and am not convinced that any horse has the speed to keep up with his acceleration (if he shows the same as he did at chester). Any drying of the ground will only enhance his chance as on a rattling fast surface he is much better.

40/1? is a massive price. I am very happy to be on at that price, as never in my wildest dreams could I see this horse being that big, as to me this is a 12/1 chance at most.
Report workrider • October 2, 2011 11:39 AM BST
mirisoo i agree with almost everything you say...i was at epsom the day he beat midday ..he showed remarkable spirit to run her down after she went past him as if he was standing still...so had a small e/w bet on him today....
