yeah i seen that rain has been bad last few hours fingers crossed its not going to get called off would be typical

By:
Evens with Spoilsports. Seems a generous price unless they know he's gonna need it badly.
By:
Word is he's a lot fitter than he was on his comeback appearance last year and it's a lot more suitable trip...........here's hoping
By:
i'm on. its a big price imo

I would imagine if meeting goes ahead that Gowran will be a quagmire tomorrow. Its being belting down with rain here in the south east of Ireland all day and more rain forecast tomorrow. Hardly ideal conditions for a horse who's best form is on decent ground over 2miles.
Having said that he has form on soft ground |
By:
He has form on soft certainly but the 2nd fav is much younger, appears to be improving and DEFINITELY likes the ground.
By:
they way he traveled over 3m v kauto last year i would b happy tomo over 20f great turn of foot and by far the class act in the line up even on soft he has to be backed at these prices, should be closer to 1/2 or even less for me so am happy to have between 100-250 on it depending on early prices and ground if it gets go ahead [:D]
By:
agree the 2nd fav is a danger but sizing is still lightly raced for his age and i think he still has 1 more season of improvment or even if he just runs to his mark will be extreamly hard to beat with big zeb form line golden silver all solid yard sticks and sizing is right up with all of them if not infront of them witch would say at the prices just now sizing is the one to back by far right now
By:
Don't see much value in the price to be honest. He'll probably win, but I'm sure you can find better Evens chances. However fit he is, I can't see connections gutting him to win a nothing race on bottomless ground at this time of year, and Rubi Light is certainly good enough to test him. Classic watching race for me, but good luck to players.

OP is spot on in assessment, pick these up and carry them and win hard held.If you can find evens tomdeane, fill them in because there will be few laying if any.hth[;)]
By:
dont forget, their all in the same boat, first runs, ground....
By:
even- they're
By:
2.5 mile in soft is a big concern though it could be a crawl. Rubi Light is a progressing high quality horse that goes in conditions. Fitness of both is the issue but given both equally fit Rubi Light is a no brainer.

By:
Good to see the horse is OK, btw.
By:
SE didnt impress with his jumping!
davey getting back on? |
By:
that fall looked horrific, cannot believe he's okay and he remounted him

I backed Sizing Europe overnight and have to say I felt very lucky that the horse actually won. People seemed to know that today 'wasnt' the day so to speak, and it was layed for plenty in running when still travelling equally as good as the winner.
Some informed burnt fingers out there, and it'll pay for tonights curry. Very fishy drift! |
By:
Sizing probably needed run but dont underestimate Rubi Light.
By:
He was lucky to hand on from coolcashin in the end ffs,if SE stays 3 miles plus then im the pope!
no chance, stick to 2 miles with him, would struggle to even stay the ryanair distance |
By:
Agreed, stop pissing about with him and be happy with having the Champion Chaser, plenty of good times to be had winning all the good two mile races.
