Why do ATR continue to employ these two clowns?

It's the 'lowest common dominator dumbed-down (minor) celebrity' syndrome  - that proliferates all publications and   television nowadays.

i was bored to tears watching their coverage today,cooper at ascot,fitz at fontwell.
endless adverts,and the big blue betting screen covering the screen.
im sure they dont want us to see the horses.

it is dire

The sad thing is that both of them actually know what they are talking about compared to most of the other clowns employed by the channel

weaver strikes me as a good bloke, but he spouts endless cliches. otherwise he might be interesting to listen to if concentrating on what he learnt as a rider.

for harvey, he'll give a good mention to his 'mates' he knows from down the pub, but otherwise utterly clueless when it comes to the form.
