I remember Adair was an American horse Godolphin bought as a 2yo after 1 impressive win and he may have run in the derby, offhand circa 1999?

The US version won a Belmont turf maiden as a 2yo and then ran unplaced in the Derby, next start he was third to Mutafaweq and Ramruma in the Leger.

Gorgeous chestnut horse - don't think he ever ran again mind.

Pretty sure there hasn't been one since the 40's at least, the only similar I can think of is Ardaghey, and that's pushing it.
