Laying longshots is the first thing to stop doing. Massive prices compared to SP so you have to be right 99.9% of the time. Eventually one of the f'kers does ya bank. Not saying that to lay short prices blind is any better. Most winners on here seem to be backers who are prepared to put up with losing runs but get the value of the extra 10 to 20% that the layers are giving them.

Some shorties are well worth laying though.....e.g. Maloof in the 7.40....won't stay. Ultimate Best will stay.....and a few others have chances. [;)]

Maloof is my place bac of the day.

Might place, but not a cert. by any means. Hardly screams 'value'.

Maloof, by Bahamian Bounty.....

12-13f  0  59   4  4  0
14f+    0   7   0  0  0

8 placed from 66 runners 12f+. No winners, but this one does have stamina on the dam side so you might get away with it as there isn't much strength in depth.

I've already laid Maloof to win at 2.86. Hoping it will drift enough to trade out before the race for a decent profit. That's another way of not losing your pot through over-confidence. GL.

Phone an Ambulance Chaser - and have a Holiday. Be honest you might be "touched" but you certainly have not lost it as you never had it in the first place.

You need to put in some work on your bets MT.....Doubtful stayer on the stats. and it didn't stay. Never back juveniles without looking at breeding imo. The first and 2nd and 3rd had the right pedigree for this race.

Give it up until the jumps have been going for a few weeks. This time of the year is when the dough is done.
