It was her first ride and the horse has had a lot of problems, that said undoubtedly a pro would have won on it, but you have to start somewhere but anyone who backed it, would know that a stronger more experienced rider would have won on it. That said I would be very surprised if there wasn't a massive amount of claims for it. Rated 86 and in for 6k, was 95 before last run and dropped 9lb for not running for two years, I can see a shrewd judge picking that up !

Has anyone seen that this Hans Adielson has put her up on no less than 5 horses in the next few days, she seems to be riding everything the stable is now running. Absolutely amazed to see a girl who has had only a handful of rides riding 2yo's first time out, especially for such lofty connections.

Surely Eric Penser won't stand for this idiot of a trainer who has only had 2 winners all year from around 30 horses and is now running everything with a young lass on board who has only had 2 rides. Penser pumped about 500k into this venture and it seems this Adielson is a complete muppet. Should be some great laying material in the next few weeks, looks like this Adielson is going all out for the sack.

As a matter of fact: Hans Adielsson is a topclass horseman. The best in Scandinavia EVER, and he will prove his ability in the next few years. Look at the statistics in 2-years-time. Penser is a friend and H.A. will get all the time he needs. Regarding the girl: She did nothing wrong ... didn't get the breaks down the stretch and finally went for the inside-rail .... You were all extremely disappointed because you thought that she won when they passed the line. In Scandinavia H.A. was famous for bringing on young talented girls winning lots of big races. Nicole Nordblad will do very well in the future.

Sand Skier - Had been off the course for 3 months having finished 10th on its previous run, William Buick booked (no prize money race), opened 7-1, touched 9-1, backed into 5-1, finished 2nd.

Master Of Disguise - Had been off the course 2 years, opened 11-1 on its return, backed into 8-1, finished 2nd.

Sigge, who do you think were backing these horses from a stable  seemingly not in much form?

Report Feck N. Eejit September 30, 2011 1:47 PM BST
George B, those were both having their first run for the stable. If the trainer tells the owner he fancies the horses or someone (such as the two posters above) bet them knowing how good the trainer is it hardly makes him a gambling stable. It's not like the trainer's been running them deliberately down the park. BTW both those horses were previously trained by Mark The Slayer so perhaps they were just responding to a bit of human kindness.
Report GEORGE.B September 30, 2011 2:02 PM BST
Horse having its first run 2 years, ridden by a girl having her first ride in public, seemed to be a bit of informed money around for it - and given the horse went so close to winning, it would appear some people knew. If not the stable...

Obviously not saying there was anything dodgy going on in their previous runs, but I got the impression Sigge was saying they are not a gambling stable. All I'm saying is given how well those 2 well backed horses ran, I'd say someone close to the stable had his / their card marked.
