Have the trigger amounts ever been changed for Premium Charge? £250,000 to trigger 40%+ seems an awful lot of profit. But if that was the figure when PC was introduced that represents about £40,000 per year; now it represents just £14,000 per year. Seems entirely flawed that those virtual figures will continue to come down and more people hit higher and effectively more restrictive levels.
By:
how does it represent 40,000 a yr?
By:
You need £250,000 lifetime profit to hit 40% PC. Betfair founded 2000, Premium Charge introduced in 2008. In 2008, £250,000 required about £40,000 per year for anyone who started out in year dot.
Anyone starting year dot only needs to have accrued £13,000 profit per year to now hit the £250,000. That's as long as the figures now are accurate going back. |
By:
Oops. Maybe £30,000!
But still the point remains, £30,000 has now become £13,000. That second figure will continue to get smaller and smaller and will just put off the smaller consistent winners. |

trigger amounts still the same.

Yeah, figured as much. And I bet there's no prospect of them even looking at them.

Shaft , the trigger amounts are not the same you stupid fukk. I know people who have been premium charged after winning between 15 and 20 grand on a brand new account. This 250k figure is a complete load of Shiite .
By:
Surely Betfair make it clear in their T&Cs ????
By:
There are two levels of PC. The £250k threshold applies to the 40%+ rate.
It is possible to pay the 20% without getting anywhere near that. |

i think it should be higher , 65% at least,
