Being only an occasional visitor to this forum, there was one individual that I do remember as being a HUGE wind up merchant on here for many many years with occasional name changes presumably in an attempt to disgiuse himself to prevent continuous criticism and he came under the names such as 'ascot_1', 'windsor boy' I think was another one and perhaps 'm_fordy' was one of his earlier inventions.

Just curious ..... is he still around or did he disappear about 10 years ago now? You could always tell when he returned with yet another username as the style of his messages always gave him away.

It’s like the way people make up texts on their mobiles.  Everybody has a style which can be recognised.

Back in the day the gossip was good on this forum, lots of late night discussions on the following days racing, plenty of good opinions around back then.

I agree platinum but also there were some very nasty posters back then,thankfully they didn’t stay around for long.

Also platinum I found plenty were helpful with things like short cuts to the races and places to eat and drink afterwards just generally racing enthusiasts willing to help other racing enthusiasts.

Totally agree with the positive comments for workrider, i know him well, in fact i met him in Dublin last Friday. Agouti Bear was entered for Dundlak (18.00) but wasn't declared, so we went down to Danny's stable to see her. We were also planning to go to Navan on the Saturday, but it was abandoned. A nice guy, loves his racing and knows many involved in the game over there. Could represent Ireland for talking if there was such an event at the Olympics
