Blobby - I'll turn the question around, are you really saying you're working collateral form to that degree of precision? There are too many variables to make that exercise of any meaningful value. Just round up or down if you must, but the very fact that horse A beat horse B has more relevance that the slide rule calculation that suggests B wins next time.

Tge "distance" is actually a function of the time the horse was beaten by, so do it using the times and the Lengths per Second Table.

In an attempt to stop the absurd postings here, an answer to the question. Spread firms which engaged in distance betting usually used (in lengths)
Nk= 0.3 Hd= 0.2 SH= 0.1 I assume a nose = 0.05. However assessments may vary but will be close to these. |
