Yeah cut the grass, I think I've cut it at least a couple of times since as well which I think is more than acceptable although Mrs. duffy says she disagrees, I had but the baldness down to the reluctance of her to "help" me out with certain things since but on reflection it could very well be the grass.

Yes, I agree. Racing has become quite boring, especially flat racing during weekdays. I've always concentrated on the festivals, Cheltenham, Aintree, Royal Ascot all occur in ~ three-months and the only other festival I watch is the York Ebor and Arc meetings. Some interest in G1's throughout the summer, but Appleby vs Gosden is as boring as feck as prices dire and nobody can bet with any confidence.

Now I'm retired, I realise how dire midweek racing has become due to the move to Saturdays. And the worst of it is constant pressure to attend family events Sat/Sun. This Sat missus wants to go to 2yo grandson afternoon party and insisting I go as I was allowed to watch golf and football last weekend...
