Does Jim Bolger have any good horses anymore?

I don't think michael ryan (finsceal beo)has many horses in training any more,bolger owns most of them himself-interesting to see how all his teofilio 2yos will fare out as season goes on.

Bolger has a few decent sorts this year but he has moved away from Galileo the past few years as the covering are too costly. He has invested heavily in Teofilo due to the foal share's he has and also the because he has quite a few nominations guarnted every year from Darley. Its a very risk ploy for Jim but he knows what he is about and just needs to keep going steadily and the new progeny will come and bring success.

Jim have many barren years before Galileo less we remember but boy can he train and breed.

Exactly Ruby, his fait is tied in to a large extent with that of Teofilo, He was in on the ground floor with Gallileo. He also has quite a fe Gallileo mares, and is using Lawman and a few American sires a bit. Interestingly he is standing Vocalisedat his own stud now.

Has had a Dylan Thomas first time out winner at Dundalk which is encouraging, DT was a grand horse, great looker.

Vocalised was a smashing looking horse and by Vindication. Bolger's big thing is the quality of mares that he has. He has exceptional mares. As you said he is using plenty of Teofilo but just wait he have the same with New Approach if not more.

Did you ever see the Documentary he did with Setanta. Was one of the best Docs i have ever seen on anything. The man is just unbelievable Breeding Nous. He has around 60 mares...all from from blood lines like Soldier of Fortune/Lush Lashes etc. He has bought a few American Mare's to add diversify hist stock. Teofilo are massive stamp of horses...he is bound to get a few good ones.

Loads of injuries I am sure. Reckon she will be kept for stud....the won't be running the guts out of her. Very valuable.

Heavy Weight is a horse he has that is a half brother to Glor Na Mara and also has nice horse that won in the stewards for June Judd
