does anybody have any stories about him i did not know him but every time i went racing he was always there did he make the game pay

Billy was not everybody’s cup of tea as he was a shocking loser, he would sell you anything though and i remember being at the Bedford lodge in Newmarket for a guineas meeting and whilst i was having dinner Billy came in and pestered me to buy a shirt for £40, he said they were worth £200, two days later i was washing my the car with it!!.
He was a character in the ring and there are very few of them now. |
