I wouldn't have any worries on that score he's a grand stamp of a horse who looks to have a great future ahead of him.
Can be no arguing that Frankel was by far the best 2yo but this horse has been grossly underrated by Timeform and co.
Ricahrd Fahey saw an opportunity by taking a different route than Frankel but to my mind this is a straightforward high class animal who I would have ahead of the likes of Dream Ahead who is without doubt overrated.
Can't see him not training on and although he may not beat Frankel he'll give a lot more to think about than anything else has so far.
Knocking ew bet for the Guineas IMVHO

horse will be overfaced by connections, and very probably will not win a race all season.
He's nowhere near as good as they think and beat very little of note at 2. Certainly nothing that will be running in a classic.

win a maiden extremely easily, then win a G1 on the second start, then win another G1 by 9 lengths, then run one bad race and that's it,
back to sellers you go.

I agree with Rondetto if WB was trained by one of the so called elite in Newmarket or Lambourne he would be joint fav for the Guineas. Fahey is a master craftsman, IMO one of the top 3 trainers in the country so my advice is dont under-estimate this nag.
As for Dream Ahead Hes a group 1 horse on soft ground and likely to be a sprinter in 2011, but a very good horse, but I wouldnt touch him with a barge pole on decent or quick ground.
Frankel, much as I love Henry and would love this horse to win the 2011 Guineas (it would be great for racing) I just have a nagging doubt that this could be another Arazi, lets hope I am wrong.

I have a great liking for Wotton Basset very genuine beast who does just what is asked of him i think he is the one Frankel has to fear cant see any reason why he wont train on but who knows.

you're probably right, my mates dad has connections with Fahey so i'll probably hear if somethings wrong. I went to Doncaster races where i watched him run and have followed him ever since, hope he can keep the run going :)

pontey21 get your spelling right--hes called-wootton bassett............anyway im princibly a layer, but i backed him all 5 times last season,i was at ayr york and donny(2nd time)and i think hes a top horse and agree that if trained by the big southern stables hed be massively shorter in the betting, when he won at the leger meeting there was a photo of him and connections in the post later that week and im in the background so got a cracking copy and framed it(on my wall above my computer) anyway i will go to newmarket and back him again(dont like anti post bets)so will ttake a price when non runner no bet appears

interesting more favour WB.from 5 of the last 6 years sales type races winners like WB running from sept onwards.in the following season there were about 18 such horses running, and only 2 were any good indian ink,and total gallery.and 10% winning strike rate with -34 points returns following them at s.p,so im not convinced, were see.

just bored interesting to see how these things pan out.someone correctly identified dream ahead as a sprinter, but wouldnt touch him with a barge pole on decent ground,1 out of 2 not bad.some horses get chained to peoples hearts, were all guilty, despite the stats being bad for WB,via the sales races route

who cares how its spelt, honestly.youd get paid by bookie if you wrote down bertie basset antepost for guineas should it have won.chances of handam or godolphin or top stable having runner called bertie basset in guineas minimal-please correct me if ive spelt berie basset wrong.

I agree pontey - what I was pointing to was someone (kilmarnock) criticising your spelling and then him spelling ante-post wrong - just amused me that's all
