I think its appalling that companies like Cobain Ltd of Belfast are allowed to tout fast internet based horse racing pictures.
This is damaging horse racing liquidity because a small sector is able to afford the high cost and have an advantage over other horse racing bettors.
Its one thing using the wifi facilities on the race courses themselves but quite another for a commercial organisation to harvest feeds and sell them on at a high price. I'm not even certain that what they're doing is legal. Their service, called 'ATR Premium Members Club' is doing racing a huge disservice in order to satisfy their own greed.
The sooner Betfair do something about horse racing pictures, the better it will be for everyone. In running liquidity is falling rapidly and the only races where there is solid liquidity is during televised races where there is a much leveller playing field.
Surely Betfair must realise this and start to negotiate to provide 'live' UK horse racing pictures
Anyone know any more ??

Horse racing is a dead dog, Im just waiting for the government to bring in the new rules on exchanges/levy/'acting in form of business' etc and then its onto the next money spinner.

Is anyone still managing to compete with ATR and RUK Sky pics, going by last week and how easily i was picked off it's looking grim, had bad weeks before but it felt different last week, anyone still finding it viable? Anyone still doing consistently well with Sky pics?
well my ATR keeps freezing 1/2 way through a race - makes in running very interesting - then i have to reset the box and wait for it to boot up again by which stage its 1/2 way through the next race!!!! wonderful

dustybin you are correct, probably just a bad week for me and i think i played very badly. I am sure it's not changed that much in the last couple of weeks.Suppose i look for reasons why i am struggling when really it's just what happens occasionally.
i play off slow pics and if anything finding it easier lately.even wolverhampton,lingfield and southwell aw tracks getting matched at decent prices on winners.
must add ive read on here atleast once a week for the last 2/3 years that the game is finished yet the guys that were making money 3years ago are all still making money today.some days are slower than others but thats the same in any walk of life.

slow picture player here - no probs generally with the delay , just that liquidity seems a bit hit and miss at times - but no one said it would be easy - if it is then it probably wont last
