its 50/50 , some do recover , depends how long in water , strip it , battery out etc and leave in warm for a few hours , not to hot a place tho

John - previous poster is right - immediately, put it into a bag full of rice..... the rice will soak up most of the moisture. This worked for my mate a couple of weeks ago.
