If you can sort the wheat from the chaff there are some excellent judges on here ... Cool Eddie is a fair judge,I remember a guy called Tim Ormerod on here who was fairly clued up ( particularly with a horse called Coconut Moon)

The best judges probably don't even share their selections on here. They are probably too busy making their money. Others tip something in every race thread. They're bound to get a share of winners yet the losers are conveniently forgotten!
It pretty much sums up the forum that I can't even pick a name that consistently posts winning bets. |

my aploligys for not being perfect a 16/1 just beat but adviesed place , told ffloslas the fave would not win ,and gave him the 9/1 winner so that was 2 winners in the same race ,i posted 2 yest fist one won 2nd driffted like a barge and was not wanted but hands up it was beat 25/1 . i also told fela kuti his would not win after cheering him up . i also pointed that the 2 runners would not like the soft ground if it rained and blanko getting 7 bll would be a big danger i stated the fav want like cut , in the rip van thread.
sorrey i cant get it right every time ,i feel worse than anyone pycian let medown for a 5 figure sum wi p.power picabo ,to win ,blanko to be placed and pycian to be placed , i am not perfect but i dont see anyone else doing any better . |

Fryboy had a reputation for being a shrewdie on here.
I was listening to the barstewards podcast last night and they're doing a Cheltenham preview next Sunday evening instead of their usual Sunday Sermon, and they said that Fry will be on, but don't know if this is the same chap. Another ex-forum hero, jonjo, famed for his wit and Redcar write-ups, will be on, though it sounds like he's still very much a Flat man. |

I always read Foyles postings with interest. It has proved profitable for me.

Jonjo used to do a good pre season write up regarding the Stoute barn…..
|
|

Yes 'form, he tells some stories in his blog about his connection to the Stoute yard
