what you have to ask yourself is given he has many other sources of income is he as hungry any more ?

the guy is a complete mystery to me. he is supposedly one of the shrewdest punters in the land yet it seems to me he never goes for anything other than the most obvious selections. he is also reputed to be a bit of a rogue with the ladies and yet can there possibly be a more charmless character around. a complete mystery

if he is making money from betting why is he working for racing uk for about 200 pounds a day. full of **** in my opinion

Don't think he's as good as Mellish or Posh Paul, but he's OK

at least you know he is gambling unlike most of the other presenters

He has diversified his sources of income so is no longer in the game, this dilutes his estimation, and ought be taken into account when reading into his handy gig on the box.

I doubt it - the sales weren't that good.
Used to dislike him - but now i find him amusing.Don't believe he's trying at all whilst on TV He has to give an opinion on every race - but likely as not, he wouldn't be a 'player' on 95% of horses he has to mention.
He's strictly entertainment value only imo.

I think that part of the problem is that none of the presenters or guests wanna give a strong opinion on anything case they get villified or lyched by an irate viewer who's just done their mortgage.

thats a surprise facts, thought he'd have done well from them, it was a bit like his RUK appearences, entertaining!

Good value imo. what do you guys want? he does his homework, doesn't take himself to seriously and offers an educated opinion. I am sure if you paid him he could come round and do your selections for you.
