Anybody know why the post haven't got a story and info on there website about the Godolphin horse that got Disq after winning because Ahmed Ajtebi weighed in light in the 8.05 at Thirsk last night ? Am I a long way out in thinking they may be trying to keep this as quiet as possible ?

i'd imagine as the race was at 8.05 last night and the dq did not some to light until about 8.30ish that they wouldnt have time to get it in before the print run

Stake & Chips, It would be nice to know how much he weighed in light and what was the reason for this, EG-had some of the tack fallen off,did the wrong saddle get put on ? As this mistake cost some punters a lot of money, and punters need to be confident that this sort of thing isn't going to happen on a regular basis, then a report in the sports only racing paper is surely a must wouldnt you agree ?

Pretty sure it was reported that Ajtebi's nose fell off half way through the race which would account for weighing in 3lb light.
