I do not tend to put capital letters in a sentence on forum posts as it is a casual way of replying.  I would, of course, put them if I was writing a letter.

I was not 'having a go' fudgey, I was just curious.  I have seen such poor spelling on here but do not know whether it is due to our poor education or whether english is not the posters mother tongue.  I would not dream of making fun of posters poor spelling because it is not their fault they have received such poor education.

This is a betting forum, people with nothing better to do than look out for spelling/grammar mistakes should go into teaching.

Annie you are one of the better contributors on here, and I find myself agreeing with many of your posts. Why out of the many threads with dreadful spelling and grammar that I have seen you on have you chosen this one to question?.

I was not being critical, as I think I said, it was just being curious.  I just wanted to know whether our education system is now so poor that the young people of today cannot spell.  This is not the same as being critical of the original poster.  As I said before, it is not his fault our education system is so bad.

Fair enough Annie, I know fudgey annoyed you with his "no gals crack" I believe that was just a joke (hope so) and when he realises this has offended you he will apologise. I have said my bit I'm outta here, good luck today everyone.

i don't think poor spelling is limited to 'the yoof', however much the older generation would like to believe it - i had a teacher who thought yacht was spelled 'yott'. i mean FFS
