how the feck is labour ahead? Have can anyone vote for more of this - have you slept through the last decade? This man sold off a large percentage of our gold reserves, has blatently failed to control our borders - and some think he should be allowed to continue!?

Do people really believe that only the Conservatives will make public sector cuts - is that it? Do they somehow think that the defecit (Labour caused folks...) won't have to be dealt with under Labour.... Has the financial situation in Greek not been understood over here? To say that those on benefits or immigrants think they'll have a harder time under a Conservative gov may well be true, but are there really enough of those to produce the early results we've seen? These early results are staggering... I know that in some areas the postal vote is as high as 25% - but even so... It's illogical, absoutely baffling... perhaps it's just a nightmare and I'll wake up in a moment (and find the old-style forum back as well) |

i think people see Cameron and his pals as what they are a bunch of over privaleged toffs that have never given the electorate a clear idea of what they might do to sort the countries problems out, they have no fecking policies ffs, wot is their border policy? what cuts will they make? we dont have a clue

FD - I don't think ANY party has given a clear outline of what they intend to go - and I'm so sad I read each manifesto..
the Conservatives did explain about public sector freezes and a cap on immigrants and this country's ation on "toffs" never seems to apply to the Labour front bench does it... |

the tories cant do a fecking thing about immigration, they know it as do the other parties, they say caps but while we are in europe there is no choice, you do remember which party took us into europe dont you?

oh and btw it was Gordy that stopped us joining the euro, which i think will have saved us a lot of money in the next few years, its bad enough bailing out banks, countires the size of spain are another matter.

I do indeed remember who took us into Europe - I still have nightmares about Maggie Thatcher in that flags of Europe knitted jumper!
I also enraged my father by having a croissant for breakfast and pompously announcing "I went to bed British, but I woke up European!" forgive me lord, I was too young to understand... I am passionately anti-eu now (UKIP forever), but the in all fairness the EU Maggie took us into is very different to the EU Brown seems to support with such fervour. |

he didnt support it enough to join the euro, his party supports it and lets not forget BLAIR loved it, Gordon had enough problems without tackling what is undoubtedly a problem, the Tories will have exactly the same problem

i wish the people would get over the idea that we will ever pull out of europe, it is just not going to happen, in an ever changing world of globalisation there is no danger we are going to shut up our borders and pretend the rest of the world isnt there

the way the EU is going it will simply implode - it can't keep accepting member states who take out more than they put in and that's what's facing them now.

its fear that drives people to these parties, fear of change as in the next 20-30 years things are going to change a lot, expect fuel shortages, water shortages, mass immigration, flooding and climate change, as the chinese curse goes we are about to enter interesting times

there is no way the tories will have a majority, the market is 1.12 fro a hung parliament and isnt fluctuating anymore a clearer picture is unfolding
