2 very safe seats of labour , their vote has collapsed from last time ,is there going to be a collapse in the marginal seats ,hmmmmmmmmmm very intresting .
Report tutan May 6, 2010 11:40 PM BST
2.58 is now becoming a very tempting bet for no overall majority .
Report ph. May 6, 2010 11:42 PM BST
if the tories get the majority then maybe Labour will realise how shallow, pointless, petty and directionless they have become.Blair and his acolytes will blame it all on Gordon who for mine has been no worse nor better than his predecessor. At least Brown has some semblance of integrity.Any truth that Blair is hawking himself for Strictly Ballroom,BGT or the ice skating show?

His married and got a few kids . He  has been publicly criticised over his and his partner's home help arrangements. Having advertised on a Romanian website, they hired two people at below minimum wage without a written contract.
Report Jack Bauer '24' May 7, 2010 12:29 AM BST
Paxman lives with his partner Elizabeth Ann Clough in Stonor, Oxfordshire. They have three children: Jessica, and twins Victoria and Jack. He supports Leeds United,[5]  and enjoys fly fishing in his leisure time.[33]  He is vice-chairman of the Wild Trout Trust conservation charity.

When, in his twenties, Paxman unsuccessfully applied for the vacant editorship of the venerable Labour-supporting weekly The New Statesman, he said he considered himself a socialist.[34][35] He had previously stood as a Communist candidate in school elections.[35] More recently, he has been described as "the archetypal floating voter", and Jon Snow once said that Paxman's greatest strength was being "not very political".[35] Paxman himself has stated:

"I do understand we have to have a government, and I do firmly believe in democracy. So it's not true to say I'm not a political person. I am a political person. But I'm not a party political person. I don't believe there is a monopoly of wisdom in any one party. I suppose as one gets older - I would have described it at the age of 21 as the process of selling out, but another way of looking at it is to say, actually, the world is not a very simple place, and that as you get older simple-minded solutions seem less attractive."[35]

Kingswood wasn't a major increase in the Tory vote, the Labour vote collapsed. If the near 10% swing is repeated everywhere the Tories have got the majority.
