Why are you having your £2 on now? Do you realise it would be priced up at 16/1 or 20/1 if you left it alone? What's the point of having a few quid on now...

Plenty of cash for it last time, just from the wrong people, hence it stayed in its box. Same again?

so if a bookie wants to lay a 20/1 at 5/1 he just has to put a couple of £2 bets on then all bookies and exchanges will be 5/1 in the morning

To be honest the cats been out the bag on this one since its first entry this year, even if the 2 pound merchants hadnt done this AGAIN the bookies would have been incredibly overcautious with this horse. If it runs its a place lay as they gotta do something to get everyone of this horses scent

Lord Lucan is correct.

Betfair has ruined early price value. FACT.

This carp does annoy me. Making the market for lazy bookies, also allowing them to price up a horse a few points shorter all because of 10 or 12 quid has been matched.

Back the double with Baddam, expect around 50/1+ and lay appropriately.....No Brainer!
No value until there is liquidity, early shows on BF are just to peanuts....
Remember the amount matched has to be halved to give the true amount backed and layed....many people are misled by this.

It was backed into 3/1 early morning in a southwell hcap the other week before being a non-runner. what makes anyone think the books would have priced up at 16s
