Ahh Killer Instinct ,those were the days, every horse in those green and white stripes talked up to be pigeon catching Pegasus destroying racing machines(not to mention exceptional virility).
Gerard Butler once anounced he had the 'best two year old of all time' ,sadly not so Gerard,

Not sure who the Butler machine was, but his Compton Admiral (went on to win Eclipse) shocked the world by beating the mighty Killer Instinct on that one's debut.

Butler said Nayyir was the best horse he had ever trained or been associated with and thought he would be a world beater. He won at 3/10 on debut and then was beaten twice, before being one of the coolest winners of Shane Kelly's career at Beverley when he done a Laura Probert impression, instead he got up. In fairness the horse did go on to win 2 group 2's and was a consistent group performer over the years.

Dont think it was Nayyir,as i sem to remmber him running in light blue /dark blue quarters, The Thourghbred Corperation were the owners(Green/White stripes, (same as Killer Instinct & Oath).
Dont think this two year old turned out anything special at all.
