In the States you can't run until the horse gets a gate card.....they must stand in the stalls for a few minutes,then break out...

don't think lotone on about the stalls handlers, more the total lack of schooling done by many trainers at home.

Also our wonderful stalls handlers seem to take far too long to load runners, one at a time in big-field races. No wonder some early-loaders get agitated standing there for so long. Is it beyond the starting teams to load a few at a time?
