Don't know about anyone else but I am really bored with this now. It happened. Some people agree with the decision, some disagree. That's life!

most accurate statement on this subject we've had imo

throw in the cecil factor/ french getting the race ... and you get the whole forum meltdown!!!! it had to get chucked out.

if the horses had stayed straight, they could have bumped all day and the race would be Cecil's. trouble is as soon as they go off line like that, the stewards only look at how much ground the runner-up lost by drifting, and those ones are almost always reversed.

If the race had been on BBC then she would never have been thrown out.

Can you imagine Coolmore losing a rcae like that. Dylan Thomas how did he keep the Arc?

This happens everyday in mediocre races & nothing is ever done, sometimes no stewars enquiry, then a reversal in a classic, there is no consistency!

that doesn't make yesterdays decision wrong.......the other instances are often the wrong ones....yesterday was right.....and best to get it right in the high profile race.....perhaps more of the correct decisions will now be made on a day to day basis.

If, if, if. If my aunt had stones etc.

It was the right decision. Get over it.

So feckin what? Still the right call. Two wrongs dont make a right etc.

I suppose the fact they bet evens each of two in the stewards, rather meant it could go either way.....Guess many of the posters were in the JQ keeps race camp.
