I guess that nearly all the rain that fell at newmarket this morning managed to fall on only half of the track or was it maybe falling on ground that had been watered unevenly and whilst i appreciate they have a hard job i have an idea for you...... STOP WATERING !.

worse affected group 1 ever due to the draw

What about the Cambridgeshire last year, when no rain fell for 2 weeks, yet a massive draw advantage for those racing high.
As you say where are they watering?

"the BHA are well organised you'll get away with nothing" - sadly this doesn't seem to apply to COC's.

Royal Ascot last June was the worst example of selective watering around - super fast Stands Side first two days, couldn't do a jot the last few.

a small amount of water should be put on to take the sting out of the ground but watering to change the ground is wrong and i believe in some instances is done to please the top trainers who support these tracks.

The jockeys said after the Guineas that if you werent drawn on the rail then you had no chance. Then they still go over to the middle. Unbelievable imo

Not particularly talking about this meeting, but it's amazing how quickly the ground softens up these days, even after the shortest of rain showers.

The first meeting at ripon this year was the worst for watering. First race the far side all won by miles and in the last race it was stands side. JOKE!

Purely coincidentally, obviously, the more these track biases occur, and the more British racing becomes a total lottery for punters, the more money the BHA, the racecourses, and their bookmaker business partners make...
