I am no expert (unlike yourself John, they pay you as an 'expert' dont they?) but I dont think anywhere in the rules on interference it states the stewards have to imagine the result with 100yds tagged on to the distance.....
If 'pundits' simply cannot be @rsed to learn/understand the rules what exactly are they bringing to the table?
Mellish/Hislop on RUK identified there was a serious problem as the field passed the post.........NO COMPARISON.
