They are unbelievable, they have nailed another nail in the coffin lid of racing with that appaling decision.

Shameful

Correct decision, but mostly they do not follow the rules. CONSISTENCY is needed.

If you thought Jacqueline Quest did not take Special Quest off a true line, you had best give up betting on stewards' decisions.

Ditto. Went a bit mad on the betting. Won 200 on Special Duty antepost. Lost 380 on Stewards In quiry betting. :-(

immyc if you thought cecils horse should have kept the race then it is a good decision of yours never to bet on a stewards again as your judgment clearly isn't much good IMO

Whatever the "correct" decision was the stewards have highlighted again what a farce this sport really is. It's not even a century out of date it's two.

no one is saying its actually wrong decision, what were saying is that from watching thousands of races in last few years no way do they reverse for so slight, just simple consistency if they continue todays rules then expect 3/4 reverse decisions each day

IMO they are pretty consistent. If there's interference and it's a nose or a short head, it'll go. Otherwise it stands.

race is a joke due to the extreme bias on the track .....the decision that followed is IRonic ..

RACING JUST SHOT ITSELF IN THE FACE ..............GAME OVER

do bookies cover lucky 15s with their double result thing?

it only won by 3 inches. the merest suggestion of interference is going to be enough to change the result.

Zoey said on ATR that the race would go to one of the two horses in the enquiry

Thet do not reverse enough results imo, far too much contact in the game over here. I would not go as far as the Americans, but at least their jocks know where they stand.

you are right they are pretty consistent but in a different way.

if a favourite is first past the post the result stands if an outsider is first past the post then the result is reversed

"I'll NEVER bet on a photo or a stewards again"

I suggest for your own financial future that you follow your own advice as you clearly haven't as yet grasped an understanding of the rules of racing.
