Because he intimidates the horse behind and if he wins by a neck plus he keeps it.
By:
^^^ he knew

By:
Q did the right thing - he knew the french tart was quicker
By:
Brodie are you blind
By:
the lad had the 2nd fastest horse ffs - he did everything to win
By:
in my opinion the interference didn't originally affect the outcome of the race. Brave call imo
By:
You pratts annoy me - none of you have much clue - riding on the couch at home with your pint of carlesberg and 2 bob eway
By:
didlick..should get a month for it..cant have win at all cost fella..be like the wild west out there.
By:

By:
Brodie 02 May 15:36
The horse veers right and he pulls his whip through into his left hand and smacks her That is 100% what happened. |
By:
He knew by the rules that he should have straightened her but he also knew that it would have cost him any chance of winning....dont matter whether its a classic its intentionally breaking the rules
By:
didlick, I think your wasting your breath on here but I agree you are the only one I see on all posts that read the situation correctly,
By:
oh its didlick ,the mouthy ex-bookie ffs. how many bannings have you had now?
By:
"clever" piece of race riding, if he wins by a head he keeps it.
without doing it he is clearly 2nd. |
By:
lost the race. LOST the race. Francome reckons he keeps it straight it wins.
How many horses has he ridden ,ya tw@t |
By:
Correct
hunter 02 May 15:38 Because he intimidates the horse behind and if he wins by a neck plus he keeps it. |
By:
You're right, he's only doing 40mph on a horse upsides another one doing everything he can to win the race, daft decision!! Why dont these jockeys stop and think sometimes!!
Signed tongueincheekman |
By:
He intimidates the 2nd horse but can still only win by a nostril. Francome I am afraid is wrong in this case, imo.
By:
I thought he veered right when he pulled his horse off from the one on his left and changed whip hand to prevent interference on that side. His horse then went right instead.
By:
Watch it again mate.
You are not allowed to try and intimidate the 2nd horse in this country. You lose the race as you've just seen. All you people saying it good race riding are obviously a bit dumb. It got thrown out. Keeps the horse straight he probably wins. |
By:
Had he kept it in his right hand it might've hampered beaten horses on its inside but would've ended up on the rail and won.
By:
sorry for the insult :D
By:
Correct hunter :)
By:
left handed
By:
That was more like a US decision. Fair enough ,but lets have it every day of the week.
By:
I've just realised what Queally should have done.
He should have mullered the fav and made sure he won by half a length. Keeps it then ;) |
