u have 2 treat it the same as lesser meetings but that wouldnt get thrown out normaly

if they have come to their descion fair enough but to say every race is the same and we treat all races the same is beyond me . there has been some shocking riding recently and stewards have done bugger all about it , need consistency

If you watch racing day in day out, which i suspect most people on here don't, you will see that happen every fcking day with nothing whatsoever done about it. It's all very well these stewards coming out with all the usual shyte but that will all sound very hollow tomorrow at some gaff track when the same happens and nothing is done. There was a 2yo race last week (i don't recall the horse) where the first-past-the-post dragged the 2nd from one side of the track to the other and then nearly dumped it over the rails. It kept the race. The rules might state that JQ should lose the race, but these rules are not put into practice 364 days of the year so why put them inlt practise today? A complete shambles.
