was impressed by the way music show finished in the rockfel and have been a fan for the guineas since. got a bit on at 19 and 17.5 ante post and was nicely suprised last time (didn't back it) when winning back at HQ prep run.

as long as ground isn't too soft, which appears to be the case now i think she has a great chance of remaining unbeaten here, now going up to the mile.

sint, HWB is keen on laying Blackpool. I have backed both HT/FT reverses at Hillsborough. Leaving Liv v Chelsea alone.

Pipette, been saying this for the last week the way she won her last race was guineas material imo and her 2 year old form is working out fantastically. the fact balding said she would only run if significant rain just makes me more confident after the rain.

Special Duty - Big possibility won't sta with front running style. Will handle ground.

Seta - Hyped into favouritism but a filly that has yet to put the form in the book.

Music Show - Has the right sort of profile but Fallon has jumped ship.

Rumoush - Impressed in Fielden has stamina and speed. Trainer fine, jockey concern.

So do you trust Fallon's decision? His classic record sugests he normall gets it right!

I'm going to assume Special Duty will not stay and back Music Show and Rumoush. Recent history tells you there is about a 70% a 10/1+ filly will win though.

matt your observation doesnt seem to tie up with the following:

Newmarket going changes to good to soft
By Tom Kerr 12:28PM 2 MAY 2010

FURTHER rainfall has prompted Newmarket clerk of the course Michael Prosser to change the going to good to soft.

The going was previously good, good to soft, after six milimetres of rain fell overnight.

Prosser said: "The rain is not too hard but is persistent. I have just walked the course and we have changed [the going] to good to soft.

"It has eased slightly since 10.30am. They say its due to stop very soon and I keep peering out waiting for it to happen.

"We had 8mm of rain before 10.30am and we now must be approaching 10mm in total since last night."

Rain continues to fall intermittently at Newmarket and the wind is beginning to grow stronger.
