Horrible race for a classic with more than ½ the field out with the washing due to track bias. Lost all interest in having a bet at Newmarket Rowley mile for the time being.
The jockey decision to change whip hand was the key moment. Jacqueline Quest was the best horse in the race, def lost more ground by the drift across the course than the fav for the slight bump.
