Seems fair enough to me. Queally, whip in wrong hand kept using it.Nose. Open and shut.

If Tom had kept his whip in his left hand he would have won the race and not been throw out...Driver error I'm afraid.

i'm amazed at that decision. How many results have we seen reversed with minimal interference like that in every day racing. not many imo

fair decision i thought, smallest of margins and horse clearly drifted in to special duty!right decision!dar ri me was robbed tho :D (and i backed stacelita) terrible way to win the guineas but a win is a win!!

Didn't back either but having seen the head on, there was only one result. They had to reverse it or they would have given jockeys the green light to do that in every race and we would have chaos. Great shame for Cecil though as KQ would surely have won if she had kept straight up the rail.

Gave away all my green on the fav, was so sure they wouldn't throw that out. Seen much worse incidents and no reversal.

Hung with the assistance of the jockey and the winning margin - the key points.

Backed Cecil's in running, decision is 100% correct, there cannot be any doubt, Queally's whip change did for him.

I'm not au fait with the rules. Can a horse lose the race w/o actually bumping the 2nd?
By:

When: 02 May 10 15:48
Incredible tote dividends on the winner. £3.50 win and £1.30 a place!
By:

When: 02 May 10 15:49
tote have a had a shocker on both the big races. the French don't bother with the bookie fellas :D
By:
sageform
When: 02 May 10 15:50
Brodie, yes it can. In this case there was a clear bump, but if you "take a horses ground" which means forcing another horse to leave a straight line to the post then you lose the race if the Stewards consider that the interference cost the second more ground than the distance it was beaten.
