Gents - Read into this what you want. I am only posting because I thought some of you might like to know what I'm about to say. For those of you who are about to reply with silly, smart and unhelpful comments, I would like to day to you - Fcuk off and I'm sorry you've never had a life. I met some of the Coolmore boys at Newmarket today. They told me 3 FACTS about SNA. 1) It would not win the Guiness today 2) It was the best horse AOB has ever trained 3) It would win the Derby
Lads - This is what p1sses me off about his form. You get a genuine bit of information, pass it on and you still get ridiculed. Any clown who backed SNA today knows nothing about horse racing.

angles, did they tell you that he was a lovely horse, a proper horse with lovely feet, and a beautiful mover with enough speed to win a July Cup? If not, I don't believe you.

Is there anyone on this faceless forum that HASN'T got contacts with someone in a yard somewhere or HASN'T met someone influential , by pure coincidence of course.

Ok fair enough, I can believe the information you have been given. The fact that Rip and Mastercraftsmen improved so much after running in the guineas last year can tell you that. And the fact that he also trained the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th in last years Derby. So you would think he also has a great chance this year, and anyone worth their salt would be looking to back his horses in the middle of the summer.
But anyone who backed SNA today is a clown who knows nothing about horseracing? I'm sorry but that's a pretty stupid statement to make. I backed it today because I thought it would win, but also had a far larger position on Makfi at 66/1.

Sure,I can understand that... but it's all about gearing a horse up for the event. Rip Van Winkle fininshed 4th in last years Guineas and ended up European champion miler. Mastercratsmen finished 5th and then won the Irish Giuneas and the St James Palace. Very rarely does a horse win every race it runs in. And remember, the first 3 home today will definitely not be at Epsom. For what it's worth I'm more interested in Cape Blanco and Mikhael Glinka, but unlike some it seems, I can certainly see why SNA is the derby favourite.

The money was down today alright lads. March 11th 2002, AOB gave an interview on RTE radio. He said Istabraq was passed it and he would be over the moon if it finished in the 1st five in the following days Champion hurdle. Istabraq was heavily backed that day too.....

Was always going to be a Derby horse rather than a Guineas horse in my view. Should have been trained for the the Derby instead of trying to emulate Sea The Stars.
