the lightly raced JONNY MUDBALL looks real e/w value at around 8/1. not seen out till october last year he made a satisfactory introduction in a windsor maiden, finishing 4th behind hajoum, with next time out winners ponting and bended knee just in front of him. he won his maiden over 7F at lingfield 3 weeks later, making all and winning easily by 5L. the tom dascombe oasis dream colt was then made favourite for a class 2 handicap, back at lingfield, where again he tried to make all over 7F but after looking all over the winner he was caught close home by elna bright, with a decent field behind. off for a while, the colt was made a short price fav at doncaster on his reappearance this year. sent off 5/2 he was held up before making late headway, finishing a never nearer 6th to kaldoun kingdom beaten under 2L. he must surely come on for the run, the dascombe horses arent in the best of form but a couple have run well recently, blue jack today an example. the price just looks too big imo.
