Horse didnt settle. but beaten too far and too early to be sure it doesnt stay.

Sorry Hippie - not being sniffy - just wondering what he could usefully say after that performance that would add clarity to the horses future prospects, particularly over a mile.

They're unlikely to take him to Ireland so he has to be given another try at the mile in the St James Palace Stakes.

that hackneyed little phrase seems to have been aimed at almost every horse in the field this afternoon.

what does "not trained on" mean anyway?

Well it hadn't grown since it's 2 year old days were the comments before the race and it showed with the horse beaten very early.
