Can you Believe they just showed a Group 2 up in the corner of the screen with no commentary
The people in charge of this sport are utterly brainless morons.
What I dont understand, is why the hell did they let both go off at the same time?
A class full of 8yo's would have worked out that 2.30 was the optimum time for the Newm race to start, ffs!!!
It's nothing to do with them. :-) . They draw 6 figure salaries - but it's still nothing to do with them.
A few weeks ago I was watching the racing from Australia and they delayed the start of a Group 1 race because some other race from some minor track was on at the same time.
We pay channel 4 to show the racing... and they have the offtimes to suit them and feck anything else.
lol surely in life a cup of tea, a wee biscuit and a reflection on what could have been on the previous race is ok.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Racing Department, managing the co-ordination of race times throughout Great Britain. With racing taking place on 361 days of the year at approximately 1500 fixtures, this role is crucial in ensuring optimal intervals between races and making sure that clashes of race timings are avoided. Using your excellent communication skills, you will act as a central point of liaison to all parties concerned, including racecourses and the media.
Whilst working in a dynamic and busy environment, you will be expected to provide valuable input to the Racing Committee and the Jump Racing Sub Committee, organising agendas and compiling reports, so the ability to prioritise and to work to strict deadlines is essential, whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
You will also be required to provide research and data for the Board and Director of Racing on areas such as ownership, horses in training, racecourse attendances and prize money, so your analytical nature and meticulous attention to detail will be important.
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate both knowledge of and passion for horseracing. Good interpersonal, multi-tasking and organisational skills are required, together with the ability to provide solutions and react to swiftly changing circumstances. You will also need to be a competent user of MS Office packages. Being part of this vibrant team, you must deliver results to tight deadlines with a minimum of supervision and have the capacity to assist and deputise for members of the Racing Department where necessary.

I was reading william haggas today, he says we shd feck channel 4 off and stick to the 2 racing channels. Thats the way forward, imo. That clash was down to c4.
I'd be happy if they employed someone who could watch a couple of tellies and pick up a telephone, rather than try to satisfy that ridiculous job description.
