DIY at its best,
Lorna goes on the ever growing hate list ! |
|
By:
And who pays for the likes of Lorna, Tommo etc.... Do courses increase their already sky high prices to cover it ?
Went to Market Rasen recently on what I thought would be a quiet Wednesday only to find myself suffering the deafening tones of Mike Vince on the p.a.for about 30 minutes talking you through the card - don't think he found a winner. Couldn't get away from the noise, could still hear him in the toilets. A horrible experience all for £18 |

Roland the headless Thompson gunner.

Like put that lot into "Splendid Isolation".
|
|
By:
hearing Mike Vince in the toilet infinitely preferable to seeing him there. Vince is a world famous racing saboteur. He's the racing equivalent of Kirk Douglas in "The Heroes of Telemark".

Rex Garvin and the Mighty Cravers. |

Surely you know by now that courses are after new young racegoers who spend big money on food and drink, bet with the Tote in cash and bring their mates with them. The regular who just buys a bag of *****and a coffee, bets in Tote Credit and buys an annual members badge is no longer welcome. My attendence is down from 50-60 day a year to more like 5.

last time I went racing was to Old Sarum about 4 years ago. It makes me so sad to think about it. Put me off for ever. It's a cruel ,cruel sport.
