spoke to him at York last year - May meeting. We'd both spotted a not-off one from Goldolphin, at least that was what we thought. Horse never managed to win subsequently, so perhaps it was just no good. He looked - at 3pm in the afternoon - as if he'd just risen from his slumber - but a really nice bloke and a great commentator to boot.
