When you advertise yer vehicle on AutoT.

Eminates out of W Africa apparantly. I've had two now, one from a Rickky Blair (class name) and one from this clown calling himself Fred Curties (you gotta laff).

I'm sure no one on here would be daft enough to fall for anything like this, but just in case...

Hello,

How are you? I saw your advert on the web about the sales of your car. I have read the details about the car on the web, but i will like to hear directly from you, i hope this will not create any difficulty for you. I will like you to get back to me with the following:

CONDITION OF THE CAR?

REASON FOR SELLING THE CAR?

MILEAGE OF THE CAR?

ASKING PRICE?

MOT?

I will be waiting to read from you soon, your quick response will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Fred Curties

They send you double what you ask on a dodgy bankers draft, then contact you and ask you to return half of it, then cash the draft.

had the same thing when selling a greyhound last yr . They say they will sent you a cheque for more than the amount , you take what you need and send the rest back to them .

The cheque is mickey mouse . They hope that you will pay the money vie one of the money transfer places before the cheque clears

Have fun with them!!!

give them the run a round.

I got one and told the guy I'd give him all the financing he wanted if he got me the fifa player registrations for Thierry Henry and Kaka :)

he said - that could be difficult but I will try my best!!

good.

Must confess to be winding Rickky up a bit, but there is a serious point to this so I hope those that weren't aware of it before take note.

Awwww bless...

Hello,

Thanks for the details of the car given and its been nice to read from you. I will like you to know that i am okay with the price, condition, and features of the car and i am making it clear to you that i am ready to buy the car from you. I should have love to come to your location to pay cash for the car and ship it once to my client location but i am a very busy man and have a very limited time likewise my client.

I will also like you to know that it would have been better to pay you by bank transfer but due to the fact that there are many bad people on the internet looking for a predators to swallow there money and for that reason it will be very difficult to pay you by bank transfer. I will like you to know that we have to pay the risk by 50 to 50, so my client will pay you by international certified bank draft which will be very easy for you to cash in your bank between 4 to 5 working days with the amount you requested for. I have been in this business for good 15 years now and i have no problem with any customer on the internet nor have problems with me so you are safe in transacting with me with no fear.

So i will like you to know that paying by banker's draft is more safer for us both, and i am assuring you that the car will only be shipped after you have received and cashed the draft in your bank and not before then..
So please, kindly get back to me soonest with your following information for the payment below:-

SURNAME?????

NAME???

HOME ADDRESS????

STATE????

POST CODE???

COUNTRY????

TELEPHONE NUMBER??

ASKING PRICE OF THE CAR........

Kindly get back to me with this details asap, so that i can quickly forward your information to my client and he can quickly issue and send you the payment.

I will also like you to get the car advert off the internet website and consider it been sold to me because the more you leave the advert on the internet website the more inquiries you will have on it.

Wishes you best of luck...
cheers....
