What it shows is the contempt this goverment have for ordinary working people.Its ok for him to call an old woman who has to live with the huge problems mass immigration brings.Lack of jobs and lower wages,ovrcrowded schools and hospitals,violent crime,ejection from community areas that have been their home for generations etc.He and his political class live in areas and have the money to escape all these genuine practical problems.Nothing to do with being bigoted or racist.

State pension is a universal benefit so affects a lot more people and the tories want to increase the age for men to 66 in 2016, labour will wait til 2024. If they want to save money then they should do something about child benefit - means test it and limit it a max of 4 children per mother. About 50% of council tax goes on schools so I am already paying enough for other people's children.
