In the normal way Huntingdon dont want to let you in if you've paid but grudgingly let you after several checks of your ticket. I hope they dont start threatening to eject people for eating in the stand again - not really in the RFC spirit.

do bookies bet for free as well then?
By:
Looks an absolutely awful card.
By:
orc, hope you finished it off by backing a few winners :)

pretty rubbish today WR - olympian spirit, it's the taking part mate. My favourite track for the quality of racing, course, tottie, food drink, the lot

does martyn of leicester have 2 pitches at ascot, and both were used in the experiment?

What's wrong with the card?!!!!
Looks like punters have a real chance to me. |
By:
does it?looks dreadful to me

The 4 runner h'cap chase none of them can win.

Race 1- One of the worst races ever seen on a UK course in terms of quality
2- Pitifully uncompetitive novice 3- Shocking low-grade handicap chase contested largely by inconsistent dogs. 4- Mediocre and not particularly competitive handicap hurdle 5- 4-runner chase, every runner either unreliable or out of form 6- Marginally the best race on a poor card. Still full of rogues (6 of the 9 runners wearing headgear) Fantastic stuff! |

there is a total of £25,000 in prize money available at huntingdon over six races
By:
good point Stringy however cheapo Heath enclosure still best value in racing imo for Royal meeting take in your own chairs, booze, picnic and wear what you like - brilliant on a summer's day

I'll have some of that Orchardist! B-)

Still prefer it to an average card at either Downpatrick or Ballinrobe, workrider.
By:
The winner of the first race tomorrow wins a paltry £937...shocking.
By:
Agree beast, but at least there are six races. Too many cards have had five races + a bumper.
By:
You might know the answer to this wizard...you know when the 5-days cards have a division preference, and they usually list 3 or 4 races in preference of splitting. The Southwell card today had 6 races all week, and 3 races ready to split..however for some reason,no races were divided, even though im sure the bumper would have had more than 14 declared overnight, and should have split..why do some cards have divided races, and some dont?

By:
tHE FREELOADERS AS U CALL THEM MIGHT BE OUTNUMBERED BY THE "PARACITES" THAT PREY ON THEM ;)
By:
It's very complicated, beast. If you look at the BHA Rules (excellent web site) they take a bit of following.
By:
There were a couple of NH cards recently that had two splits, making 8 races.
So in short,why only 6 today? |
By:
wasnt can you get me up to date on the Change to Charges, is it 2012.
By:
Cu its September 2012. To data there has only been the one agreement, Towcester. Afriaid I'm not at liberty to discuss negotiations with other courses at present. Details of the Towcester deal can be found on the frb website www.frb.org.uk under "Pitch Battle".
