Anyone know why Hong Kong horse racing isn't covered by Betfair? Generally a market with high turnover, as opposed to the midweekers in South Africa, generally much higher quality horses going round.

I assume there's some legal issues?

because the HK Jockey Club threatened court action if they did and this was at the time there was talk of Betfair floating and any court action would have well and truly fcuked up the float

we use to have it on here when I started.

this was back in the day with the likes of River dancer winning g1s there :o

i think the HKJC are very very negative towards betting exchanges. lot of work needed from betfair to turn them around methinks.

if the hkjc really were as good as they claim, they should develop their own betting exchange for sports betting

they are so lucky they have a monopoly
