Glad I bought the Weekender for this...

St Nicholas Abbey - 3 star bet.

Apparently was very impressive last season and Elusive Impernel franked the form in the Craven.

Matt is also slowly warming to "surprise package" Canford Cliffs.

Is this the same tool who before the Cheltenham festival wanted to back at any price willie mullins not having a winner ? And just because willie had some odds on shots beaten in bumpers this year.

Absolute fool. Stop buying the paper - your money is going into these idiots' pockets.

Better than James "Pycatcher" pyman, who actually put up Lough Derg (I kid you not) as one to follow last season (if fields of 6 or less)

How on earth has he got this gig, though? His case for Denman the other day was absolutely woeful - yet typical of a column that looks like it has been written on the back of a fag packet in a betting shop.

Was Denman a strong recommendation?

I know this is aftertiming, but that is shocking. Fair play if Cooldine or J'y Vole ew, but Denman ???!!!!

What's wrong with tipping a 13/8 shot?

Nothing wrong with it in theory dan hardcore, but there seems to be very little in his argument that isn't blindingly obvious to the man in the street. I'd expect better from the RP's chief tipster.

Dan:
SNA may win easily, but there are just too many negatives to be taking that sort of price. If he is so keen on the RP Trophy form than Elusive Pimpernel wold be a free each way bet (even though I'm not keen on it).

To give you an idea of the price, SNA was freely available at 7/2 after RP Trophy win. Ladcrooks didnt even price up SNA on the basis that it would be suited to further.

didnt he put a 16-1 chance ew last week that finnished 3rd..?

surely his job is to try and find winners 3-5 days before race,is very hard..

nice to see his punting high today in rp,he knew what it ment to the owners to win that race...

nice bloke imo

the point here is that the RP is a punters paper, 99.9% of the readership dont require baby feeding from MW about the front three in the market for the guineas.

To be fair, Kieren Fallon also makes a good point about St Nicholas Abbey and the ground.
