Does anyone know of anyone who needs to offload a racehorse either too slow or just not keen
My sister in laws horse tragically died at weekend she does not make enough money to buy another one,but is gutted she has lost her pride and joy!!!!
She has owned an ex racehorse before and can give it a good home
Any help would be great.

you can get them given i gave one away to a good home so the kid could go show jumping .nine months later the tw ats were racing it again,

Watch yourself mate , My mate got one and was told " if you give it a good home , you can take it "
Ended up paying a good few quid at the vets to get eve sound enough to walk round a field. |

Same thing here gave ours away as injury and best not to run.
withing 5 weeks they put it back in training. The other problem we had is inland revenue would not accept we got nothing for it so we had to make a nominal tax payment. w4nkers. |

most it would be doing is hacking and wee bit of cross country to keep fit

If this is genuine then I suggest that you contact Darley. They have a re-homing programme for retired racehorses. It is a well run yard, where you can go down and sit on the horse etc. They try to match the ideal horse for a persons riding ability/experience with horses. http://www.darleyrehoming.co.uk/about.html
