ok i'll start with gosforth park, newcastle, although not a regular these days..

accessibility....6 miles outside of the city, on the main bus routes, free shuttle buses run from the town centre.

value for money...for the facilities and the standard of track i have never begrudged paying the asking price..a cheap days entertainment imo

[b]atmosphere...cracking atmosphere, particular during plate week...dozens of coach trips from all over the uk descend making it often chaotic trying to get a bevvy

viewing...great vantage points, wherever you are..ok maybe not in the silver ring, where you are looking at the runners sprint past you at the furlong pole

ambience...first rate..enough said

food, drink etc..i can reccomend getting a pass into the silver ring just to use the food hall..nothing flashy, but good, cheap grub, and tv screens aplenty......loads of beer points all over the course..a bit pricey though, and on a busy day..chaos ensues

bookmakers/tote facilities..no shortage of bookmakers, or tote windows..two betting shops also

quality of jobsworths..wow, just try sneaking an ice cream or a drink into the members enclosure and its off with yer head

totty :) on plate day, its like a miss world pageant ;)

helpfull hint...before entry have a pint in the adjacent border minstrel, but avoid a dodgy old bloke selling tips ;)
