going now always seems to be on the good to firm side i can remember when it tended to be soft or heavy

improved the drainage at Bishop's Cleeve end of the course years ago (they ran on the friday for a 4th day that year) , unlikely to get heavy again in March

going now always seems to be on the good to firm side i can remember when it tended to be soft or heavy thought tuesday and wednesday were lightning fast this year. they watered for thursday and it became good watered friday to maintain the ground then i dont no what the hell happened but that rain just didnt seem to soak in on the friday and the horse came back like they had ran in mud. |
