By a 7f sire out of a mare by a miler, was always likely to be outstayed by the Trempolino horse who set out to make it a stamina test and had been tried over further.

Why are you bringing breeding into the argument when we're dealing with relatively exposed horses??? Gremlin dogged it, pure and simple.

Because I find it an extremely profitable angle on nh ir betting - a lot of the horses particularly novice hurdlers are not really bred to stay and are found out if the pace is really strong. Besides the two horses concerned only had 5/6 runs each, hardly well exposed.
