Two of the forums favourite topics in one place, joined together in Nick's article in todays Guardian.
Musing on the current changes (larger saddlecloth numbers, decimal odds) and the tactics of RFC, he says:
'You wouldn't put a testcrash dummy on a pushbike and nudge it into a rose bed'.
Personally I, like he, hope Lucky doesn't get mistaken for George Osbourne during the election, as toffs pontificating to the uneducated masses is invariably an unedifying sight.

Greg wood does write some good stuff,although that papers racing coverage is not high on the agenda of the name dropping chattering classes from islington who write for an unknown clique of organic readers living in Londons leafy suberbs. . |

I can see Lucky being employed as Osborne's body double for a couple of weeks if the toffs blow this election.
If this comes to pass he'd best pack his speedos and brush up on his foreign languages. No pushbikes in rose beds at the toffs homes should they fail in this quest. |
